Not surprisingly I’ve been getting a lot of messages from people now interested in bitcoin asking for advice. Here’s what I recommend:

Step 1: Get off of zero! It is now irresponsible not to own any. Buy an amount you can stomach going down 30% if a pullback occurs. /1
Step 3: Starting listening to podcasts:

@TFTC21 w/ @MartyBent & @matt_odell
@stephanlivera podcast
Bitcoin Fundamentals w/ @PrestonPysh
WBD w/ @PeterMcCormack
Once BITten w/ @princey1976
Bitcoin Audible w/ @TheCryptoconomy
Swag Signal w/ @CitizenBitcoin
BRF w/ @johnkvallis /3
Step 4: Start stacking sats daily/weekly.

Americans: Check out @SwanBitcoin or Cash App

If you’re outside of North America ask the international Bitcoiners for recommendations.

Step 5: Self-custody

Once you feel comfortable, you should run your own node and take possession of your bitcoin.

I recommend using @SpecterWallet and @COLDCARDwallet with a passphrase. As for dedicated nodes, look into @mynodebtc or @getumbrel

Step 6: Continue down the Bitcoin rabbit hole. It is a never ending journey and there is plenty more to learn!
