I feel like their is a complete lack of compassion for human life. Yesterday I stated I felt sorrow in the loss of life at the capitol.
I was immediately attacked. I've been an extremely vocal voice in the Resistance. (continued)
#2... I'm 21 years old and very active politically, the attacks I received yesterday of all things, were mostly white people telling me, what it's like to be a person of color, and those that are innocently gunned down. (Continued)
#3 the audacity for anyone to tell me, to imagine what being a poc is like.. smh, I've been deported, I've lived my life in fear since the mass shooting in el paso, I panic everytime I'm stopped by a cop. I tweet constantly about racial justice (continued)
#4 I can have compassion for all life, even those whose actions were wrong and treasonous. Compassion for others, would stop the tribalism.
But most importantly, telling me, a native American, a Latina, how to feel, (continued)
#5 proves the arrogance and privilege that we try so hard to fight on the other side. I am completely disillusioned. It was to me an eye opener about how far we need to go, where we are at, and I fear, we will never be.
