I don't expect everyone to watch the videos of Ashli Babbit's death but here are some things you should know about what happened:

and also think they're playing a video game, but if you needed further proof:
2. At least one guy called "MEDIC! MEDIC!" seemingly unaware that they were a group of rioters and, again, not in a video game. They are so mired in war/revolution fantasy that they couldn't even think+

3. Instead of helping and/or getting out of the way of the officers who came to Babbit's aid, dozens of rioters immediately got out their cell phones and recorded her lying on the ground.

It's absurd. These people are completely disconnected from reality. They don't know what they're doing or who they are. They wore their work badges to the riot. They refused to wear identity-hiding masks. They literally thought they were on the side of the law.
We can talk about how cops are white supremacists, which is true, or abt how they have white privilege, also true, but we need not neglect the fact that this was encouraged by the highest office in the nation. They probably think they're all getting pardons. They might be right.
