Threaten violence on Americans standing up for Black lives (“when the looting starts, the shooting starts”), pour kerosene on civil discourse, divide us in ways not seen since the 19th century, and minimize a virus that in less than a year has killed 365,000 Americans.
So, anyone who stood by him; clapped, laughed, and enabled while this bully tore us apart, belittled our neighbors, destroyed institutions and faith in this country, you need to think about your role, how you normalized insurrection, how you contributed to the actions this week
History will judge you harshly and will judge all of us in this country as we careened and coddled to the ravings of a tin-pot dictator who will go down as the worst president this republic has ever known.
