I'm no expert on human trafficking but I've had a lot of experience of being part of the lives of immigrants in Ireland. Life is tough be times. The dept of immigration is pretty racist for a start. For many their biggest fear is the guards, even if they're legal here.
Worker exploitation is a huge problem and if I suspected an issue in my workplace or an others I'd be really really careful. You might think you're helping by going to the guards but you could just as easily be destroying someone's life and that of their family & community.
I don't know what I'd do but I'd be sure to talk with others who know more than me, other community members, maybe the IWW or something, migrant rights organisations etc and take the lead from them. The guards certainly would not be my first port of call.
