2020 has changed my life — I decided to write instead of reading, to engage instead of consuming, and to collaborate instead of working solo.

I made my first $$ online, made great friends, and gained enough confidence.

Here's how writing will propel my life this year

👇
1/ 90% of the participants of a community only consume content, 9% of the participants change or update content, and 1% of the participants add content.

Think of it — 99% of the internet are consumers. Join the 1% and stand out.

Be a creator. https://twitter.com/OzolinsJanis/status/1343862827535257602?s=20
2/ Don’t get left behind.

How many kilometers have you scrolled on your phone? Stop the doomscrolling

Your mental health, thumbs, and bank account will thank you for it

Limit the time spent on consuming content, increase the time spent creating

Start creating. Stop consuming
3/ Your Unique Content Is Your Marketing Strategy

We’re in an age of leverage — it grants you a multiplier on everything you do and every decision you make. Once you gain it, you can do things once looked impossible

Up to you:
1. Make yourself useful
2. Make yourself scarce
4/ Nobody beats you at being you

It has never been easier to pump out your content, make name for yourself, and earn money online by just being you. And, that’s a game you’ll never lose

Invest in your personal monopoly. The internet has never made it easier to upskill yourself.
5/ Treat Online Writing As Your Vehicle of Growth

It comes down to one thing: writing.

Writing online allows you to build your life’s resume — one that’s continuously updated showcasing your skills and experience and forms your online real estate.

6/ The internet is built on words

Our world is becoming more digitized by the day, it’s your obligation to create your own digital home. Own your spot before someone else does — whether that’s a website, blog, online business, social presence, or online education.

Write.
7/ Writing is the most fundamental method of communication.

It’s a pillar of any successful career and the foundation of every other form of media. It’s the best way to clarify your logic and thinking, and the benefits extend far beyond the page.
8/ Writing online is the vehicle for growth

Storing and distributing text online is cheap, which means your words can be read by almost anybody, anywhere in the world.

Your work travels the world while you sleep.

🌍
9/ Picking up online writing will accelerate everything.

Your words can change one person — how great would that be?

You never know how your work can inspire others. A couple of weeks ago, I shared one of my articles on Twitter, and this happened: https://twitter.com/mkhundmiri/status/1344274150098051072?s=20
10/ Writing is the beginning, not the end.

“Writing online is the fastest way to accelerate your career. It’s the best way to learn faster, build your resume, and find peers and collaborators who can create job and business opportunities for you....
