It's happening already. Burnley fans lining up to defend the honour of their new owner, a financial engineer with no interest in the club beyond profit, because they hope he'll spend money on it. Wouldn't you at least want to know he wasn't buying you with your own money first?
I mean, he loves Burnley so much he previously tried to buy Sheffield United. And he hasn't denied that the purchase is heavily funded by debt, he's just disputed the extent to which the club's own money has been used, without providing details of the actual structure of the deal
And, above all, he's not buying it as a private individual. He buying it as an asset for his investors. ALK will not do a single thing for Burnley other than for the direct, short-to-medium term interests of their investors.
