Some ultra-loyalists are still convinced he's playing "5-D chess" and there's some sort of secret plan that sees Trump remaining in power after the 20th. Facts haven't mattered to these guys for years now.

People who believe conspiracy theories are more likely to believe other conspiracy theories, so not surprising that Trump loyalists won't believe the evidence of their own eyes.
