The role of the govt was to enforce the rule of law; people got help from govt when they fell out of the ride. So safety net was always there as a last resort.
Now that doesn’t suit those who see govt as end all and be all of our lives. So somethings have to be taken out.

What is faith? People living in a society identify with a religion that shares some common beliefs, code of conduct and in general creates an identity for that. You have judeo-Christian societies, Islamic and Hindu societies and others.

As such Abrahamic religions have a hard time retaining believers in west and Left by equating any expression of faith into bigotry has shamed them and created at least 2 generations of self hate.

People need to believe in something. So after removing traditional faith from their minds they quickly replaced with dogma of Left. In fact the Dogma of Left is stricter than any religion.

What the Left did though, quite diabolical, was on one hand attack Xtianity in US while at the same time help Xtianity convert Hindus and support Islamists’ attack Hindu civilization.
They believe once Hinduism is wiped out they will rpt in Ind what they did in US.

Next comes love of a country. Now most countries in the world have done things the ought not to be proud of. God knows west has plenty to be feel bad and learn from.
However rather than make it a learning opportunity, they used it to deepen self hate.

Used to be if you were proud of your national identity it was a virtue. Now they have made it an attribute of fascism. So if you said I’m proud of being an American - you would be made to own the entire body of mistakes of US and self flagellate for it.

They would however not do this for Islamic regimes and bend over backwards defending them. Why? Because they believe Islamists will help them defeat and destroy other societies.

Now we come to the worst set of actions. Even if faith is shaken having strong family bonds makes it easy for them to be self reliant and bring them back to some sort of faith eventually.
Plus govt was still a peripheral player in most lives. That has to change.

Ok. They may have taken the men out of responsibility but someone has to raise the kids. So the state steps in as a father figure. Social assistance as a drug they can’t wean themselves off - and voila! The state is here to stay forever.

The dysfunction you see today in US is a result of decades of work by left. Faith, family and live for country all destroyed.

That proposal may look asinine but it isn’t. It is a diabolical effort to introduce state into the family as an equal partner and slowly work men out of it.

Once state paying housewives even becomes a serious topic for discussion they will make it reality sooner or later.
