I don’t know if this is what they used to evacuate the Members of Congress yesterday, but for a little while now I have been a bit obsessed with the little private subway network built under the Capitol
There are a number of office buildings around the capitol that Members and Senators need to get to, and instead of going above ground like plebs, they decided about 100 years ago to build their own private subway system.
Here’s what it’s like in motion. They’ve hung up all the state flags along the way.
