If you do succeed however, you will not only cook the chicken but also decimate its entire structure, causing a violent explosion.

This is a simulation of the slap using FEA.
FEA, or Finite Element Analysis, is a simulation software which uses the Finite Element Method to simulate any given physical phenomenon in a numerical technique.
The simulation is more or less accurate in this scenario, but even then it should be taken with a grain of salt.
