Critics of the Pre-Trib Rapture henceforth PTR, point to the words "last trump" as evidence of the Rapture taking place at the end of the tribulation.
Before we examine the scriptures I want to list 5 reasons why Harpazo MUST happen before the 7 year tribulation. /1

1. PTR brings to an end salvation by faith ALONE. Faith in the Kingdom Gospel + works (enduring to the end, blessing Israel, not taking the Mark) begins. Rev 12:17, 14:12, Matt 24:14

2. We are not appointed to Wrath. 1 Thess 5:9

3. PTR is our blessed hope. Titus 2:13 /2

The 7year tribulation is a time of great evil and deception followed by Wrath.

4. God's prophetic program with Israel resumes.

5. 144K are God's evangelists and we would have no role to play.

1 Cor 15:52 KJV
52 "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the LAST trump: /3

for the trumpet shall sound and they dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

1Thess 4:16-17
16 "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the DEAD in Christ shall rise FIRST:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught UP together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:"

*The sequence of events is as follows; the Lord descends in the air with the archangel and the trump of God and blows the FIRST and the dead in Christ /5

are risen; then He blows the LAST trump and those which are alive meet Christ in the air.

*The trumpets of Revelation are continuously blown to bring Wrath not hope.* /End
