I’ve been around MAGA crowds 4X. Never struck me as racists. They just seemed fanatical about Trump. They really believed he would save the idea of America they believed in. I’m wondering how they’re coping with his defeat and concession. Yesterday was a disaster for them.
Trump encouraged them to come to DC because it was going to be “wild.” I went down near the White House Wednesday night and spoke to people who were prepared to sleep in their cars after driving from all over the country. One told me he expected Biden to get arrested on Jan 6.
Prior to this there was talk of seized servers in Germany. Sidney Powell spoke of unleashing “Kraken.” Giuliani promised it would be “historic” and Lin would spoke of firing squads for Pence to Biden to Governor Kemp in Georgia. What happened was 4 people died yesterday.
Were these people duped? Did Trump and his attorneys really believe they had a shot? For me, once the Supreme Court shot them down it was over. I’m just wondering what everything that transpired after that was really about. Feels like one big gaslight or Psyop.
