how i usually drink more than a 2 litres of water everyday ; edtwt , a thread
water reminder ! drink water rn :) YOUR BODY NEEDS IT especially if you are running on less the recommended calories everyday.
1 — reminders
use an app on your phone or use your reminders app and give yourself a reminder to drink water! you can make it nice or mean, whatever motivates you.
2 — purchase a water bottle
if you have a pretty water you are most likely to want to drink water! it makes you want to use it more? also very motivating if it has measurements.
3 — spicing it up
adding things in your water wil definitely make it more tasty and less bland. i realised this helped me a lot because it was less boring...HERE ARE SOME INFUSED WATER RECIPES;
cucumber + lime + strawberry + mint
lemon + raspberry + rosemary
orange + blueberry + basil
lime + ginger root + basil
watermelon + honeydew + mint
4 — make it fancy
make it feel more fancy ? add ice ! makes it feel less like your drinking water, you can also add little lemons on the side like this to act like it’s a cocktail ;)
5 — lemon water is a must! here are some benefits on lemon water.. for those suffering from anorexia please do drink this it helps gain some strength and helps with headaches !
6 — set a daily goal
my daily goal is 2l which is 4 bottles or 8 glasses. it makes you feel motivated when you have a daily goal and when you hit it you can feel so much better about yourself.
7 — cut out the bad drinks
please put that soda down? cutting out the bad drinks and replacing them with water will really help balance out your diet and will also be an easy toxin cleanse!
8 — drinking one glass of water before every meal
this helps because you can create a GOOD HABIT and it can become second nature! this will help with bloating and cleanse your body before eating!
9 — sip throughout the day
again make it a habit. if you’re bored drink some water! promise it will make you feel better and much more cleansed.
10 — eat more foods high in water
incorporate these foods in your meals as it will give your body minerals helping with weight loss and a better system, USING THESE;
- lettuce: 96% water
- celery: 95% water
- zucchini: 95% water
- cabbage: 92% water
- watermelon: 91% water
- cantaloupe: 90% water
- honeydew melon: 90% water
