Protesters caused a traffic jam around the capitol building in Lansing.

"The sad irony here is that the protest was that they don’t like being in this stay-at-home order, and they may have just created a need to lengthen it," Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said.

"These are very good people, but they are angry," Trump said of militia members who brought guns into the Capitol. "They want their lives back again, safely!"
