it should be clear that no one is saying that it’s absolutely fine how much power tech monopolies have. we are just taking issue with the framing of trump’s suspension as a dangerous turning point when marginalized people have been kicked off these platforms for years
“if twitter can do it to him, they can do it to anyone!!” they have already been doing it to “anyone” is the point. banning a despot whose presence on here actively spreads violence is not where they crossed a red line
