Virginia sent in its Guard after Gov. Northam received a call from Pelosi asking for help. Northam’s CoS said he received a call from his counterpart in Bowser’s office, who suggested the Defense Dept *wasn’t moving fast enough* &asked Virginia to send in its state Guard.
