/13 Why XRP will continue to thrive after the bull market ends.

A thread. 👇
/13 Bitcoin hit $40k today, yet another all-time high. This bull run is just getting started, and that's great for all of us invested in Bitcoin or alt coins or both. Let's all make some serious $$$ this year!
/13 However, the bull run will end eventually, and another bear market will appear. Why does this always happen? FOMO for one, but also b/c most crypto has near zero actual use in the real world.
/13 Lots of cryptos are flat-out scams (or jokes, đź‘‹ DOGE). Others have good ideas but lousy teams or lack a marketing arm to push them. Others don't amount to much more than a whitepaper pipe dream. When the FOMO drains out, they'll lose almost all of their value -- again.
/13 Some cryptos are little more than duplicates of other, better tech hoping to get off the ground and make the creators some cash. Even if they do have some good tech, they lack the network effects, so they'll lose most of their value as well.
/13 Some do have real-world applications. Bitcoin is acting as a powerful store of value. Even if it wasn't originally intended to be such, that's what it's become. But it's power hungry (POW), slow and expensive to transfer, so it can't be much else, at least not on its own.
/13 Ethereum has taken the DeFi world by storm, but it has suffered from several big hacks, its decentralization is highly questionable and its gas fees are INSANE, severely limiting its scalability. ETH 2.0 may fix this, but its arrival date keeps getting pushed.
/13 Then there's XRP. XRP was designed from the beginning to be decentralized, incredibly fast, vastly scalable and dirt cheap for payments. It has an active eco-system of devs with hundreds of projects. Ripple is the biggest, but only one of many.
/13 Once Flare goes live Q1/Q2, the doors are flung open for DeFi using XRP. Who's going to use ETH (hackable, slow, expensive, not scalable) when XRP is now an option running over Flare? You know the answer.
/13 Then there's Ripple, which has created a network of 100s of huge financial institutions across the globe using RippleNet. RippleNet uses XRP for on-demand liquidity, which, while only used in 20% of transfers atm, will EXPLODE in adoption once regulatory clarity arrives.
/13 XRP is everything a payments currency is supposed to be. Decentralized, fast, cheap AND the XRPL is designed to transfer *any other* crypto or currency, so it's the perfect bridge between enumerable assets and currencies (crypto or otherwise).
/13 So when the inevitable bear market comes, and most coins lose almost all of their value, which cryptos are best positioned to continue to grow and thrive in the years before the next bull run cycle?
/ Yes, Bitcoin will remain a store of value. It's good for that. But for payments, for DeFi, for interoperability, for CBDCs and stablecoins, which crypto is hands-down the absolute best tech in the space? If you've done the research, you know the answer.
