1/4 Ok, so I only started this bird app because my boss at the time @GlennHenke had good things to say about it and the comedic antics of @broadcastmike and @PatDonahoeArmy kept me coming back. But with all of the stuff I am seeing now I keep thinking about a statement

2/4 Made by a GO I respected about a maxim he tried to apply from some long lost philosopher which was “you should end your day with less enemies than you started with” He went on to say that you don’t always need violence to accomplish that goal.

3/ 4 He couldn’t remember the source but those words stuck with me until I found another one that uses different words but has the same gist to it. It’s from Joseph Joebert and is that “ the aim of any argument or interaction should not be victory but progress “

4/4 So what’s in your tweets and interactions? Are you trying to be victorious over someone or are you really try to make progress?
