Seeing a lot of shitty takes comparing the maga coup/vs the Bolivian coup but while there are similarities there are also wildly different contexts. Im gonna shit for this but whtvr thats why im anon.

1.1 Before you crucify me, while they are both caudillos they have also wildly different contexts, one rose up as an indigenous leader part of legit social movements and another one represents the most privileged and destructive class in the world
2) In the case of Bolivia there was legitimate reasons to argue that there was fraud, additionally there was a constitutional crisis since Evo was bypassing the constitution and the referendum he held even though both would have prevented him from running..
2.2 In the case of the US there was no credible fraud, or any actual fraud usually came from the Republican's voter suppression
3)Difference, in the case of Bolivia even though Evo's imposition triggered a lot of the crisis, the party he comes from was/is the only viable political alternative that represents oppressed people even though there are signs of cracks and divisions in the bases
4)Difference, the opposition to Evo in Bolivia was a mixed bag, from the far right, to centrits/libs and indigenous orgs and union who felt betrayed by Evo's government
