I want to give you a brief history lesson that draws parallels between our current circumstances in the US and another... more well known, historical example.

Come, take a journey with me.
On November 8, 1923 a few thousand Nazis marched on a monument in Munich’s city center.
In the “march” were four flag bearers, including leadership.

Behind those two came more flag bearers, then the leadership in two rows.
Unsatisfied with the state of their nation, their primary aim was to make Germany... well, to make it "great again."
A popular slogan of their group was "Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer."

"One People, One Nation, ONE LEADER."
But their group's intent was not to march. It was to capitalize on a critical MOMENT of agitation and popular support for their movement.
It was never a "march."

It was a coup.

Despite their leader claiming he would never do anything of the story, their aims were... sinister.
With 20 dead in the conflict, Hitler escaped to the countryside.
Two days later, Hitler was arrested for treason.

This story continues, but the parallels to recent events are clear.
Hitler was given the lightest of all possible sentences, with many in power siding with his motives behind the coup.
For his "good" behavior, Hitler would serve only 8 months of a five year sentence in prison.

There, he would pen Mein Kampf and the rest, as they say... is history.

The world is watching to see if we will risk repeating it.
