Acting US Attorney Michael Sherwin said prosecutors expect to file 15 federal criminal cases related to the incident at the Capitol. One man who was arrested had a military semi-automatic rifle and 11 Molotov cocktails "that were ready to go."
He said, "This is just the beginning," and more charges are expected.
Sherwin said an additional 40 cases were filed in Washington DC Superior Court. Charges include unlawful entry, assault, firearms possession

Sherwin said they have not identified rioters' group affiliations or any kind of chain of command. Most of those who've been charged are from out of town.
