There is just so much I need to address about what happened here yesterday and anyone who wants to give me shit about it is welcome to log off and meet me on the ground

There are accounts out there with tens of thousands of followers safe in their computer dens being praised for saying the most ridiculous, inflammatory shit right now so you know what, I think I've earned this eight minutes

We have no hope of surviving this (not that I really think we do anyway) if some/many of you do not try understanding what got us here rather than seeing whatever you want to see in thirty-second clips distributed by unremarkable internet celebrities

There is such a gulf in understanding between what the terminally online insist is happening in the world today and what is actually happening

Anyway I survived the fucking coup attempt for the opportunity to give you my thoughts so congratulations, here's your editorial
