first of all, welcome!! you are so loved here and i’m glad you decided to join! heres a thread of things that are important to know. i wish i had known these things right off the bat when i joined so i hope this helps in any way!
1: TERMS
starting simple! on stantwt we use a lot of terms / abbreviations and here’s what some of them mean.

comfort character / show / movie- self explanatory! a show/movie/character that brings you comfort no matter what! +

mutual / moot: you follow each other
soft block: blocking then unblocking so you are no longer mutuals

2: WHAT TO HAVE / NOT HAVE ON YOUR PROFILE

3: TONE TAGS
you will see people use tone tags a lot, and you should too!!! tone tags are used because tone is not easy to read for some people and they are always helpful. whenever you aren’t sure how something comes across, use a tone tag. NEVER use them wrong on purpose. +

4: CARRDS
carrds are a great way to show your interests / express your comforts/triggers! they’re not too difficult to make once you get the hang of them, but a lot of people are willing to help you / make them for you if you want! here are a few different examples of carrds:

6: INTERACTING
you will meet some AMAZING people on stantwt! most of us are really kind and would love to be friends, so never hesitate to dm! if you are 18+ and you’re interacting with someone who you know is a minor please make it known that you are 18+ to make sure that +

if one of your tweets show that there is a quote retweet / retweet but when you click on it it shows nothing, that means someone retweeted it on a private account :)

can the qrts please understand that we are in the middle of a pandemic and a lot of us spend a majority of our time on here also i am a minor and i was just trying to help with this thread please stop w the negative qrts :(
