The McTominay "97% Passsing Accuracy" Masterclass vs City that @rickthereduk is lauding - in clips (a thread):

This was arguably his best side pass of the match in his own half
This was arguably his best offensive pass of the entire game (no joke), and yet he still manages to pass it sideways.
Not a pass, but here he is making no real attempt to get across stop De Bruyne, he fails to see Fred is covering Sterling and fails to smell danger of KDB. Nearly a goal.
Side pass...
Wow...that 4 yard pass man
Good pass? Looks can be deceiving. McTominay decides to strike across the ball thinking he is Scholes. He isn't, poorly executed and just has the effect of pushing Rashford wide right. VDB puts inside swerve/better weight on this and Rashford is through on goal here.
I don't call him McTraining-Cone for nothing you know.
Martial is literally in 10 yards ahead of him. But his brain malfunctions "Must pass sideways, must pass sideways"
Ooof this 97% accuracy makes me hot
I think an 8 yr old could literally see and execute that pass with Shaw in space the size of Africa
He is literally Xavi reincarnated...
Cheeky little tease there that, he's gonna pass forward, then thinks "wait, 97% stat on the line, pass back to lindel"
What "11 of Mctominay's passes penetrated in to opponents half" looks like
Another pass that penetrates in to the opponents half. Scholes legacy on the line here.
Another stat pad pass
And another, how can anyone compete with this?
That was the summation of McTominay's performance, before he got subbed off. I've not left any clips out as I wanted to be fair. Utd fans need to wake tf up. Are you telling me VDB cannot add twice as much to our midfield than this???? @markgoldbridge @flex @KGthaComedian
p.s. wait no, i left this beauty out! Pass of the lot.
p.s.s. Can you remember who gave away the free kick that led to the Stones goal? Yep...you guessed it...
