I hate for people to think I'm snubbing their gesture of appreciation, but I can honestly say, hand on heart, none of us want your applause.
I'm a carer, I work hard and earn minimum wage. We break our backs lifting those who can't lift themselves, -c

We cook for those who can't cook for themselves, even when we have no food of our own at home.
We support those who can't support themselves, we try so hard to bring a smile to their faces, even when we can't find the happiness to smile for ourselves.
We are the people who -c

were there for you at the very beginning, the nurses you brought you into this world, and we're the carers who will look after you when you're ready to leave.
We work so hard for you, to keep you healthy, to give you the quality of life you deserve.
