American Revolution: institute a white supremacy

Over time, white supremacy takes steps forward and back. Starting in the 1960s, one party becomes the fight for white supremacy party, but as explained by one of the main architects, they have to use dog whistles. 1/
But the non-white share of the population grows, and as Black people’s voices are more heard (hello internet! A silver lining), and as global economics change, the white supremacy feels less supreme. Panic sets in. 2/
Dog-whistles dropped. Full on white supremacy candidates elected. Full on white supremacy movement gains strength.

And now, white supremacists try to overthrow the constitutional government originally set up for white supremacy - 3/
That constitutional government is not properly protecting white supremacy anymore. For heaven’s sake the candidate selected and pushed by *Black* people is going to be president. *again!*. 4/
Must find ways to throw out Black votes or otherwise overthrow the election.

There is a through-thread from beginning to now.

And for leftists with “the government sucks anyway” - yeah.

And here’s what you don’t get: it sucks because white supremacy is more important to a lot of white Americans than *anything* else.
6/
That is the founding problem and why we can’t have nice things. I see you out there tweeting.

you’re blaming the symptom for the cause.
