As a poll machine operator volunteer in PA Nov 2020, I helped all folks voting process their ballots in a Dominion machine. Though people could cast their vote privately, some didn't care and many had Trump gear on. I helped Trump voters vote for that clown.
I hate Trump on many levels. He's a garbage person, a pathetic excuse for a man, cruel and a criminal. But I helped my fellow citizens vote for him because THEIR RIGHT to choose mattered to me. To all the domestic terrorists who stormed the capitol, I say this...
First, you suck. Second, I kick your ass as an American. When Trump won in 2016, I knew it would be a mess, but it was what the will of people -- as partially repped by the electoral college. Regardless, it was the rules. He won that contest. So I accepted your will.
I never thought I would take pride in being a "patriot." So many who call themselves that are full of bluster and care more for America's symbols than its ideals, and even less for its obligations. But I guess I am a patriot after all. I try to be the best kind.
I try to be about expanding the circle of freedom. Of letting people be as free as possible - in all things - when 350 mil of us crammed inside the same arbitrary borders. I'd like to work with and listen to anybody. Even Trumpers if there are any out there who aren't goons.
My main point? Trumpers: when you won, I accepted it. Now that I've won, I call on you to accept it. That's all for now. This #humblebrag has been sponsored by peace and love. Thanks for reading. Both of you.
