Kaori Makimura from CITY HUNTER 2, #18 - Storyboard vs. Final Shot. This is a bottom-to-top panning shot. Though it may not be practical, I like the "one-handed bazooka" look a lot.
I think I will make an "animatic"-type video in the end, but they are fun to compare side-by-side in the meantime. I am not sure what the Red X is for, but it's perhaps to change Ryo's pose/expression?
The way Ryo is drawn in these storyboards is very cute. He is almost like a chibi.
The storyboards themselves are xerox copies, but they're covered in penciled notes/corrections - presumably by the layout artist? Here is also a pencil doodle of Ryo's head that was on the back of one of the sheets.
