I'm going to piggyback on Bill because what he's saying is a half-truth.

Yes, the clash in DC was caused by poison politics and deliberate misinformation, but laying all of the blame at the feet of Trump is a lie. /1 https://twitter.com/BillClinton/status/1346977706865516544
From 2016 on we have been told Trump is a Russian agent. We watched the evidence presented to back up those accusations fail, and watched as the entire Obama administration's crimes through FISA abuse were ignored. /2
We watched as the Federal government failed to properly investigate crimes committed by Hillary Clinton and her administration.

Watched as Trump was impeached over a baseless investigation founded on lies and illegally gathered evidence. /3
We watched as Trump was ridiculed for saying his offices were wiretapped when it turns out he was using an antiquated term for what really happened. /4
We watched as Hunter Biden's laptop revealed him to be a crack smoking low-life who was having sex, not only with his brother's wide, but several other women (one of which is potentially his niece).

Among those discoveries was his dealing in China and the Ukraine. /5
Those dealing strongly implied, not on that he was benefitting from the Biden name, but that he was acting as a money laundering point for his father for funds from those countries. /6
We watched as the media let Joe skirt the issue, accused us of trying to punish Hunter for being an addict, and ultimately had our discussions on the issues blocked from Social media. /7
Twitter, Facebook and YouTube have actively steered conversations in a way to inflame anger at Trump and push opposing political sides into more and more heated arguments. /8
Meanwhile the media has fed into the fray by focusing on every awkward act Trump has performed, every ham-fisted or self-serving statement he's made. The did this while ignoring the other side of the aisle. /9
We watched in early 2020 as Trump was demonized for restricting travel from China. As Pelosi walked through San Francisco stating everyone was safe.

Later in the year, Trump was bashed for "Failing to act" on the COVID spread. /10
We had months stuck at home and we watched as we were told to mask up as politicians either went maskless (not just Trump) or wore their masks incorrectly.

We were told to stay home and kept from loved ones as politicians traveled freely to see theirs or vacation. /11
We also watched as George Floyd was murdered. I don't use that word lightly, he was killed for no reason. It was a stupid, senseless death and the men responsible needed to be punished.

We watched cities burn. /12
While I can only imagine the frustration and anger of people, we also watched as rioters (that's what they were, damn "Mostly Peaceful Protests") stole TVs, shoes, clothes and other crap they didn't need. /13
My sympathy dried up as I watched place after place looted and then burned. Lives that had nothing to do with the injustice inflicted on the people destroyed through greed and stupidity. /14
We watched politicians make excuses for these riots.

We watched a police station in America burned by a mob. /15
We watched as we were told the "Real Threat" is militias and conspiracy theorists. "Facts" which were backed up by the attempted kidnap and murder of a governor by a group of morons with an FBI plant in the middle of them. /16
We have watched as the Republicans and Democrats both teased the citizens of the US by fighting over a "COVID Relief Package." A bill so stuffed with pork most citizens were disgusted.

In the end, it passed as is and people were angry they didn't get more money. /17
All the rage over the billions in foreign aide forgotten in the rush for more cash.

Some of us didn't forget and weren't distracted with the shell game. /18
We watched the election where hundreds or people have complained about issues with the vote counts. Watched as we were told over and over, "There is no evidence" and watched as court after court determined no one had "Standing." /19
In the interim, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube ramped up their censorship more and more. Discussion on evidence was stifled and people fed into their own beliefs on what did, or did not happen. /20
On January 6th you saw the result of politicians, the media and big tech lying to people, controlling the flood of information and focusing discussion to a pre-defined narrative. /21
They've been playing with people's emotions for years now. Playing a game with us as pawns. Focusing us against each other.

It's a dangerous game, and on January 6th they lost control. /22
Now you have, not only the political Left who have resorted to violence, the political Right has as well.

This lays at all of their feet. The cause of the problem is DC and it's fitting things boiled over there. /end
Addendum:

I forgot to mention the guilt of payment processors and merchant platforms. The frustration through deplatforming and defunding adds to the boiling rage.
