If you are facing an eviction in Massachusetts, read this. 👇
You do NOT need to leave your home until a court orders you to.

Your landlord alone cannot evict you. If your landlord has threatened to forcibly remove you, call my office at 617-727-8400.
The Emergency Rental and Mortgage Assistance (ERMA) program also helps households that are behind on rent or mortgages or are at risk of falling behind on their payments due to the pandemic. https://bit.ly/ermaraft
This is important—

Tenants can't be evicted while a rental assistance application is pending.

Landlords can't discriminate against a tenant simply because they want to pay w/ RAFT.

If your landlord refuses to fill out their portion of the RAFT app or to accept RAFT, call us.
You may also qualify for legal assistance:

Tell the judge or court mediator that you would like to speak to a lawyer.
