Creighton earned a +41.4 game efficiency rating in last night's blowout win over Seton Hall, easily the Bluejays' best-rated effort of the season. Creighton climbs to #6 in our performance rankings (their highest position all year) and likewise sits at #6 in offensive efficiency.
Creighton's offensive shooting numbers speak for themselves. Against the average D-1 foe, Creighton shoots 51.2% from the floor (3rd in the country), 40.7% from three (4th), 73.8% from near-proximity (2nd), and 40.9% from mid-range (49th).
One of the more surprising metrics for Creighton is their defensive efficiency. Not typically known for their D, the Bluejays are currently 16th in the country in defensive efficiency, allowing 0.877 points per possession during meaningful game minutes.
