Struck by how breaching of Capitol bldg by jackasses is portrayed as the worst thing that’s ever happened. It was awful but not even close to the years-long destruction of cities by Dem associated gangs & lives & businesses destroyed by hypocritical lockdown-crazed politicians 1/
Capitol bldg, and the glorious history of this nation w her memorials and statues, matters. You wouldn’t have known that though, w the support BLM and Antifa enjoyed while burning that city, tearing down statues, looting & rioting 2/
I happen to think that our small businesses, the security of our homes, the ability to eat at a restaurant without being assaulted & accosted, and everything the average middle-class entrepreneur has worked for *is as important* as our nation’s Capitol 3/
After all, the capitol exists to facilitate our freedom to live our lives as we see fit. It would not exist w/o the hard work & the dreams of the American people, inspired individuals working hard for a better future for themselves and for this country 4/
Rhetoric streaming out of the mouths of politicians, outraged that that capital building was breached and vandalized, is appropriate. Police were assaulted which is obscene. And a woman was killed by law-enforcement. All of us are outraged 5/
We are equally outraged at the complete destruction of American lives throughout this nation by politicians allowing the normalization of rioting and harassment of average citizens by political gangs. Mayhem prevails in American cities like Portland, Minneapolis, NY & Chi 6/
Murder & suicidal rates are soaring. Dem politicians looking the other way at rioting & demonstrations during a pandemic, w the liberal establishment telling us racial justice ‘demonstrations’ are OK during COVID because their political importance overrides the health risk 7/
So yes, the breaching of the Capitol bldg & ensuing violence, is obscene & shocking. But equally so is what the American people have been subjected to by politicians who think that average Americans, their lives, businesses & homes, simply doesn’t matter as much 8/
In aftermath of the Capitol mayhem, politicians & their media lackeys made clear they did not want to let that good crisis go to waste & weaponized it against Trump, a distraction by an establishment that does not want to face the reality of what is happening in this country 9/
If we are serious about wanting this to not happen again & finding that unity the Dems now ironically preach, the DC elite should recognize slouching into their old habits, for all of our sakes, is the last thing they should do. 10/10
