The fact that practically every prominent conservative in the country immediately condemned lawbreakers & called for them to be brought to justice to fullest extent of the law, in contrast with what Democrats did all summer long, shows you the gulf of difference b/t the two sides
Other gulf of difference is that while a % of bad actors are being used to smear all MAGA, and will be used to reimpose total establishment/Ruling Class control--w/o consideration for why anger finally boiled over on the right--Dems instead are responsive to their constituents
Which is to say, when a people believes gov & civil society Bigs are weaponized against them, there's a double standard of justice--no justice--lawlessness is almost guaranteed. If you're not truly asking why the unacceptable happened yesterday, you're not part of the solution
And that "why" is in large part the dissatisfaction and demoralization of millions who feel they've been abused and spat upon. MAGA's support of POTUS was, is, and has been a response precisely to the Ruling Class's constant attacks on them--and him as a proxy
None of which excuses lawlessness or violence--which we say and really mean, while the other side only does so when its political adversaries are at fault
