These people don’t hate Mike Pence for his funding of conversion therapy. They don’t hate him because he is a horrible, racist piece of shit who upholds white Christian hegemony. No, no, no. They hate him because they now view him as a traitor to their idol, Trump.

This is extremely dangerous and nothing short of fascist ideology. Mike Pence was literally Trump’s vice president who has been defending his shit constantly for 4 years, and they immediately turned on him because he expressed slight disapproval of Trump’s actions this past week.

Is Mike Pence an absolutely terrible, piece of shit, scum of the earth, horrifying human being who deserves nothing but hell? Yes. Is the fact that they turned on him a bad thing? Also... yes. Because they didn’t turn on him for the things that make him such an abhorrent person.
