Emboldening the far right by (wink wink nudge nudge) types like @HawleyMO & @RepMattGaetz @tedcruz etc will mean further escalation & copycat attacks. State level houses are very much at risk. These representatives must be officially rebuked & sanctioned. It’s not just Trump

How do we know this kind of attack will happen again? Patterns from other groups. Do what can we do? Social media companies can finish the job they started this summer deplatforming and banning Q. But the kuns & the chans (8chan, 4chan) won’t.
Law enforcement needs to treat the militias as they did prior to 1992. The USG needs to properly vet law enforcement. If they’re posting and tweeting Q drops - excise the cancer. Fight the far right as we did the jihadi threat since 9/11. Consider their patterns of radicalization
Simultaneously focus on CVE of the far right. Create off ramping, 800 tip lines, education programs to help people seeking to leave the movements get out. Also there are formers with whom to partner. People like @cpicciolini & @_Shan_Martinez_ get their expertise.
