For the clamor of "Get Woke, Go Broke," the reality was white supremacists and grifting enablers had elaborate plans to "Go Fash For Cash" and politicize and demonize Blackness and other CULTURAL (NOT political) identities to demand "politics" be removed from entertainment.

What was "political" according to groups like the Bannon and Milo-backed Gamergate and the Vox Day and Meyer-launched Comicsgate? Writing about black culture. Utilizing black characters.

It is not racist to believe the books launched by Marvel and DC were bad. That's just a matter of "personal taste." It IS racist to demand that "politics" be removed from entertainment when you have decided that being black or trans--simply EXISTING as a human--is "political."

We have EVERY right as human beings to create. To tell stories. To feature characters that reflect our lives. Whether stellar or mediocre. Just like white men. But white supremacists want those stories suppressed.

The Nazi Party burned books for a reason.

And many others in entertainment made money off of the hatred and horror of those Nazis. Profited from war. The exploitation and robbery of the Jewish people. The constant dehumanization. Like vermin, these grifters pocketed the runoff.

It may seem trivial to talk about the entertainment industry, but it is so deeply tied with American politics given (1) how America labels the cultural identities of marginalized groups as "political stances" and (2) how the industry is one expression of said cultures.

(I highly recommend watching The Black Godfather documentary on Netflix. That's where I pulled the image from and it is fascinating to hear how Americans responded to the introduction of interracial relationships on film. (Hint: NOT WELL.)

They made Blackness political. They made Blackness "communism." Just like white supremacists label Blackness as "socialism" today. Just look at any Kelly Loeffler campaign ad that demonized the Black Church.

But I digress. I bring up entertainment because as the grifters and white supremacists slink from Trump, pretend they were never with the alt-right, creep from "politics," they are going to go all in on a "culture war" for money instead.

They will claim they are at war with "SJW" culture. Social Justice Warriors do NOT have a culture. They have no language, no fashion, no music, no dance styles, no art, no poetry, no fables. You know who has that? Ethnic groups. Religious groups. LGBT people.

They truth is that they are at war with Black American stories affirming one's humanity. They are at war with LGBT people expressing spirituality through House. They are war with the Jewish men who seeded their culture into a new genre by creating the superhero.

And their goal is two-fold. The bigots wish to silence marginalized groups because they believe we are mongrels who do not deserve the same rights of expression. The grifters wish to eliminate competition and siphon money from bigots by telling them what they want to hear.
