Yes, Yamaç wants to protect her just like what he said and he doesn't want to take any more risk and lose her. Which is reasonable but yet, there's another reason of such a turn that GH want the viewer to take and see.
Since GH made both of Cumali and Salih know about Yamaç's relationship with Efsun then it's time for the family/Sultan to know about her as well.
Yet, this isn't the main reason of why making Efsun enter the Koçovalı house.

I think that GH want Efsun to face the Koçovalı family & specifically Sultan. Why? To confront her about İdris's death and Efsun involvement in the matter. Not only that, but also for Sultan to know that Efsun is pregnant & from her own son Yamaç (the reaction will be EPIC).

I don't think GH is thinking of these reasons but the main thing behind such a confrontation is to clarify Efsun's role in the death of İdris, to shut up those who constantly repeating the same sentences over and over again that Efsun is guilty.

That she's the reason behind all the deaths that happened to the Koçovalı family (even though she ISN'T).
GH might want that to be clarified by two ways. Well, it's in my imagination and they could be a two powerful scenes for #EfYam depending on how they'll go.

It could be as the Koçovalı/Sultan yelling and confronting Efsun that she's the one who k1lled İdris. She (Efsun) will snap at them and accuse them of being the reason why her ENTIRE family is dead. That it is İdris's fault from the start that he killed Yücel's father.
That because of the Koçovalı, her father is dead, her brothers murdered each other (Selim you know what you did
), and that she with her own gun killed the last memeber of her family which is her grandmother.
Why? To save Yamaç's life.

If there was a price for her involvement in İdris's death, she already paid for it.

Or it could be Yamaç who will defend Efsun in front of his entire family and will clarify everything to them. That she's innocent and she didn't know what exactly was going on. Yamaç won't let her face them alone because he knows Efsun and her innocence.
But both of the possible scenes and aren't made mainly for the storyline and to move on with the plot, but could be to silence those who are still against Efsun (from the viewers). Who even when GH gave them a catalog of evidences that SHE'S NOT GUILTY.

Look, the next few episodes will clarify a lot of things. So, you either except the reality that Efsun is here to say, that #EfYam are the real/main couple, that E isn't responsible for what Yücel did, that she's on Yamaç's side ...
