1/10 In the last couple of days I've lost quite a few followers simply because they didn't like what I had to say, with some of them even saying I wasn't a true conservative.

2/10 My conservatism: I want a small, decentralized federal government with LIMITED powers. I believe in individual freedom, low taxes, free trade, private enterprise & the rule of law. Our rights come from God, not the government.

4/10 punish addicts can be better spent on treatment. Afterall, addiction is a disease, not a crime and (b) I've a problem with the government dictating what an ADULT can/cannot put in their own body. It all comes down to personal choice & responsibility...
5/10 Nationalism: I'm somewhat cautious with the term 'nationalism' because as a student of history, I know that it can lead to a dark & dangerous path. As a Canadian, born & raised, I'm a Canadian patriot who believes our people, irrespective of race, colour etc...
6/10 natural resources, Charter of Rights & freedoms & institutions should be protected at all costs from internal & external threats. Canada is my home & native land. I welcome those who emigrate here if they're willing to contribute, assimilate & embrace our culture...
7/10 My loyalty lies with my fellow Canucks, my principles, the rule of law, and NOT a political party, nor my country's leader. Those running our country work for and are accountable to us, and not the other way around...
8/10 Independent & critical thinker: I'll criticize the left for their wrongheaded policies, however I'll criticize those on my side if they deviate from the principles and policies they claim to cherish simply because the seduction of power has become too strong...
9/10 I'm an individual, NOT a collectivist. I'm not afraid to challenge, and to be challenged. Also, I don't live in an echo chamber, I've friends and loved ones who're liberal, & though I fundamentally disagree with their views, I'm willing to listen to what they have to say...
10/10 Also, it's okay for conservatives to disagree with each other. All this to say is that if you agree with my views, great. If you disagree, that's okay, you can either challenge my views in a respectful manner, or simply unfollow me. Cheers!
