With a little over a week before @NEH_ODH Advancement grants applications are due, I want to offer 4 major tips to first-time applicants:

2. Connect your project to a pressing issue or problem - demonstrate how humanists are uniquely suited to addressing issues and challenges that impact people's everyday lives
3. Describe a specific audience/stakeholders that your project engages - who are you speaking to and why...how will you meet their needs?
4. Demonstrate sustainability - articulate the project's social infrastructure and capacity to evolve with technological, team, and administrative changes.
