We can't bear witness to insurrection and just be okay the next day. Yes, the election is finally certified but many of us are shaken up and jarred. And for those of us who are people of color or immigrants, the trauma of the past 4 years continued yesterday. (1/4).
Getting back to business as usual isn't possible for many & the return to normalcy that Congress put on show isn’t a model to follow. It's hard to figure out the right next action without a reckoning.

Today, it might be helpful to center the caregiver in each of us by: (2/4)
1. Acknowledging the shook-up energy perhaps with a metaphor
2. Asking a check-in ? before meetings (ex. what are folks holding?)
3. Finding a way to process: ex. journaling, walks, silent inquiry, or real talk with guides and healers in your life
