HOW I USED TWITTER AND YOUTUBE AS A ‘MODERN LIBRARY’ TO QUIT MY 9-5 AND CREATE A 6-FIG INCOME

*thread*

Recently I deleted my burner account, to stop leeching off of Twitter and start giving back a little knowledge. This will be the first of many threads so hit follow to learn!
In this first thread, I'm gonna show how I built a multiple 6-figure business from the ground up with step-by-step actions.

If you're trying to escape the 9-5 grind but don't know where to start, the value here is gonna be INSANE for you.
After uni, I had a job I hated for about 18 months before realising I needed to quit.
So I decided to start looking on YouTube for ways to make money online.
I found a guy named Nate Schmidt who seemed to be doing pretty well (to say the least) doing this “dropshipping" thing
Discovering @SCHM7DT on YT in January 2020 honestly changed my life forever. The amount of value and knowledge he gives out is insane and I will forever be grateful to you, and his biz partner @scotty_sss too for helping me change my life. If youre not already then go follow them
So I dove right in to dropshipping in Feb 2020.

Found a product (picked the eco-friendly niche), built a store, and spent about £250 on FB ads without getting a single sale on my store because, quite frankly, I didn’t have a fucking clue what I was doing haha
This didn’t really bother me too much, because I knew I wouldn’t quit.

I just needed to learn from my mistakes, improve my knowledge base, and try again.

I spent the next 3 months learning everything I could. Focused on learning REAL marketing and copywriting techniques
I studied some of the GOATs like Gary Halbert and Dan Kennedy, and I also learnt huge amounts from @SCHM7DT who is an incredible copywriter himself. Followed his advice to find a hungry market, create a fresh angle, and craft an irresistible offer.

Time to launch ✅
2nd June 2020 I launched my new store.within about 30 minutes of launch, got my first sale.

(And yes, pretty much bust a nut in my pants when I got the shopify notif LOL - DOPAMINEEEEE FTW)

Month 1 I did about 7.5k in rev at roughly break-even. Not bad but I needed to level up
July was when I first found this corner of twitter on my old burner acc.

This was the 2nd ‘breakthrough’ I had – suddenly I was surrounded by successful people, sharing thoughts on everything from making dollasss, to gym and lifting tips, to cultivating an unstoppable mindset
It was impossible to not level-up now. Everywhere I looked I was getting help and tips and constantly being inspired to believe in myself

(Will link to absolutely everyone who helped me out at the bottom of this thread so read on to find the 🐐s)
July results saw slight improvements, but august was when things really started to blow up.

Everything I had learnt and implemented was beginning to show results.

In the month of august I did about 40k in revenue

And increased that to just over 50k for the month of September
By mid-september I hit the £100,000 total mark, about 3.5 months after starting.

Because I had relentlessly learnt everything that I could from YouTube, Twitter, and some marketing/copywriting books.

In our entire history it has NEVER been this easy to get access to knowledge
Since September my main brand has continued to grow at the same rate, and will be hitting the 7-fig mark before too long.

Moved away from the dropshipping fulfilment model and now using a 3PL service. Longer term plan is to keep scaling and sell for a phat exit in a few years
In November I founded my online marketing agency, following @blackhatwizardd and @PaikCapital courses which are absolute GOLD if implemented correctly.

With their help I’ve already signed 6 clients on monthly retainers of between £500-3000 which I now treat as my “base salary”
2020 was a year of learning and improving for me. One of my goals for 2021 is to start giving back, and try to help others do what I did, hence this new account.
