Most of those hand wringing now in the media about "fascism" have spent the last decade or more undermining any moderately left-wing alternative and striving to restore the status quo in a world turned upside down - this simply provides fertile ground for the Trump's of the world
Only a forceful, working class socialist politics of radical rupture can provide an alternative to the barbarism of capitalism in decay - unless we build and articulate that, yesterday's farce in the US will be a mere opening salvo of a very dark decade ahed
