I will never, ever forgive Republicans for this. Never.

You took my beautiful, if imperfect, country—the country that welcomed me, was my refuge, and gave me opportunity—and you burned it to the ground. 1/7

You destroyed its standing as a beacon of democracy and hope for the entire world. You destroyed its traditions of peaceful transitions of power. You spat on the Constitution and the voters you claimed to be defending. 2/7

You made a mockery of the judicial system. First, you packed it with your lackeys, hoping to eviscerate its impartiality. Then you pretended that its judgments against you—more than sixty of them—didn't exist, or were illegitimate. 3/7

You let the sacred halls of Congress be overrun by my country's enemies, something that hadn't happened since 1812. You enabled thugs to wander those halls waving around the Confederate flag, the very symbol of treason against my country. 4/7

You did this, Republicans. All of you. From Trump to McConnell to Graham to Hawley to Cruz, through McCarthy and Greene and Cawthorne, to every voter who supported all you treasonous weasels.

You did this. And until my dying day, I will work against you. 5/7

You had a choice. And you chose to risk everything: this country's institutions, its history, its position in the world—to placate a jumped-up carnival barker whose narcissism and mania you fed at every step, just so you could stay in power. 6/7

Until my dying day, I will do everything in my power to defeat you. You deserve to be stripped of every vestige of dignity or power. You deserve to spend the rest of your days in ignominy and disgrace.

You don't deserve this country. And we the people won't let you have it. 7/7
