1/ We are watching the complete breakdown of our institutions in real-time.

Closures of businesses nationwide, complete confusion and mistrust of "authorities" among the populace, the real economy in shambles and faith in our leaders at an all time low.

Rome is burning.
2/ The US Capitol is in chaos, yet the DOW is up 437 pts. Meanwhile, the MegaMillions Lottery is at a near all time high of $500MM. This is pretty much all you need to know about what's happening in America today.
3/ The economic gap has widened exponentially. Billionaires accumulated a record amount of wealth over the same timeframe that the poverty rate hit double digits, with the largest single year increase occurring this year alone.

4/ Meanwhile, the middle class, the bedrock of the American economy, was desecrated. And with it, so was the American Dream for most citizens.

5/ Political turmoil and chaos is not the problem, it is a symptom of the problem. The citizenry increasingly understands that the American Dream they were promised is evaporating.
6/ People who have great jobs, access to opportunity, financial security, and feel safe don't protest in the streets. They are content. Political turmoil and protest is the last phase of the erosion of opportunity and security.
7/ This isn't about right or left, BLM or MAGA, Trump or Biden. Our collective concerns and fears are real and formidable, but they are only the visible tips of the iceberg determined to sink our unsinkable ship.

The real oncoming catastrophe is hidden just below the surface:
8/ We built our entire economic system around institutions w/ misaligned incentives, invited overreaching government bureaucrats to pick winners and losers and crush competition, with zero accountability to preserve fiscal responsibility, opportunity or protection of our savings.
9/ Our greatness was built by builders. Enterprising individuals, artisans, inventors and entrepreneurs who create new value, and bring it into the world. Real, true capitalism. It is Main Street, not Wall Street or Pennsylvania Ave, that creates opportunities and jobs.
10/ And yet, our economic system aggregates rewards and successes to the largest among us, while socializing their losses and risks to the rest of us, hiding under the convenient "too big to fail" moniker, upheld by politicians who need their Super PAC $ to retain power.

BUT…
11/ The entire status quo is đź’Ż dependent on one simple magic trick. It is their ability to print money at will (socialize risk/losses). This year alone, the Fed has printed $9,000,000,000,000. $9T. That's 1/5 of all dollars that have ever existed...ever.

12/ As long as the Fed can print money, our leaders and institutions do not have to be accountable to fixing problems. They can simply steal our future economic buying power to pay for their mistakes today. They can literally paper over them.
13/ We don’t need to topple the system and destroy our institutions, we only need to give them a run for their money (quite literally).

#Bitcoin was created for this moment in time...
14/ Without #Bitcoin as a viable competitive option, citizens are completely beholden to institutions that do not share their interests and actively push policies that work against them. Without competition to USD, institutions would never have incentive to make real change.
15/ With #Bitcoin emerging on the world stage as a major reserve asset class, institutions will no longer be able to erode savings to prop up their failing systems and hoover up wealth, because smart capital will seek shelter in the best alternative that preserves their wealth.
16/ Historically, that alternative has been gold and precious metals, but today we see there is a real possibility that Bitcoin takes that role. Gold is hard to store, carry and use. Bitcoin is like gold that can be emailed.
17/ This mission was embedded into the very first Genesis block of Bitcoin.

“The Times, 03/Jan/2009, Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks”
18/ While Rome is burning, we are awakening to our own collective power to create an alternative system that fulfills the promise of “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” for anyone who seeks it. You don’t need to storm the Capitol. You just need to buy #Bitcoin .
