When we started law school, our Dean said “never let your skill exceed your virtue.” He clearly has. And he’s a pretender, a front-of-the-class overachiever playing the role of populist. He won’t succeed in his ambitions but he’s gonna continue to do enourmous damage.
I’m sure someone has applied this quote to him before, but he’s the epitome of “would rather reign in hell than serve in heaven.”
