We've endured MONTHS of escalating political violence. American cities braced for armageddon back in November for fear that EITHER PARTY MIGHT LOSE.

No sane person can believe a Trump victory -- after the summer we've just had -- would have been greeted w/ equanimity by all.
The preceding excuses absolutely nothing. I'm deeply concerned by what I'm seeing. I'm also not dim enough to believe ALL OF THIS is even primarily attributable to one disgraced-game-show-host-and-soon-to-be-former-POTUS.

We need more curiosity. More grace. Less sensationalism.
