Not to mention various front pages in print, and endless reels of unhinged Sky video content. And you know what makes it harder? Sooooo many high-profile media people, mostly from Sydney but also from here and everywhere else - from more reputable outlets than Murdoch - backed them instead of us. We'll remember that too. That was not easy to take.
The thing people from elsewhere don't understand about millions of people from Melbourne is that for about four months none of us gave a shit about politics. We just wanted the plan that was clearly working to keep working. So we could go outside. Hug people. Normal shit. And...
everyone that flew in to make it about politics first and foremost - or made it political from afar like the PM - just came across as sociopathic. Self-interested. Of course we want to understand the HQ fuck up. It was our lives! But more than that we just wanted the plan to work
