This has been brewing in America among Americans for so long many of us predicted this before the elections. It is built into the very fabric of the racial inequality and white privilege that underpins the US economic + political system. We must face the problem to defeat it. 2/3
Don’t assume that all Republican voters are disgusted by these scenes. Don’t assume others will not seek to follow. Don’t assume that today’s events will do anything other than fuel conspiracies + further embolden the right. Assume they will get stronger, + start fighting now 3/3
