imo chelsea can get way better for there money than Rice although rice can play 2 positions he’s also very overpriced for the age he is. chelsea should look at tall strong CDM’s to partner kante e.g Zakaria, moises caicedo, soumare etc
these players are running riot in europe and are at an affordable price which will allow chelsea to buy other players and save money for more transfers in positions such as CB, LW, GK, (possibly) ST
also the 4231 will unleash the kai havertz we saw in germany who had unbelievable stats. however the 4231 does have its cons it doesn’t allow the support the forwards are getting in a 4231 however the 4231 allows chelsea’s fullbacks to go up and down the channels
which allows the 2 DMs to stay back which will allow cover at the back. also to get the best out of kante he needs a partner he always played best with someone next to him he won the league with leicester with drinkwater next to him and he won the league with matic next to him
